Runnymede Trust Right to divide: faith schools and community cohesion The REC welcomes the report's conclusion about the key importance of RE for community cohesion and its recommendation that a broad-based RE should occupy a core position in the curriculum of each primary and secondary school within the whole of the maintained system of education.
